Ron Meyer
Ron Meyer was born in 1949 in Huntingburg, IN. Ron graduated Decatur Central High School in 1968. Ron works as a Certified Forklift Operator and is married to his lovely wife (our very own) Cindy. Together they make a magnificent team not only in music but in life. Ron has three children and three grandchildren. Ron's hobbies include: Music, Music and Music. Ron plays Lead Guitar but every once in a while he will let Mike play a song or two. At the age of 15 Ron Meyer was starring at an Orange Gretsch Guitar on the album cover of one of Americas Greatest Musicians, Chet Atkins. Right then he decided he was going to learn how to play that thing. It's been said: if the thing has strings then Ron can make it sing. It's true, Ron plays: Violin, Guitar, Mandolin, Banjo, Bass and pretty much anything else he wants to. Not only did Chet Atkins give him his drive for music, but the The Beatles inspired Ron greatly as well. Ron's favorite quote is something John Wayne once said, "Well I was riding tall in my saddle till my blister busted"-J.Wayne
